Doll House

This is the doll house my grandfather made for me when I was a kid. It needs a little remodel and some mini Pottery Barn furniture ;). But we are hoping it is salvagable because she really seemed to enjoy playing with it.

Excuse me a second while I...(any mother will know that face ;)

New toy!

We got Maddie the fantastic (note my sarcasm) 'ball popper' from Playskool. She had played with it at a playdate and was fascinated by it. Now, that we own it, I think she finds it just plain annoying. She likes order and organization just like her dad! And just when she's got all the balls picked up and in their proper place, the stupid toy shoots them out again.

Mischief Maker

Maddie loves water. That includes the very clean water in the dogs bowl. Ick!

Just a cute pic of our cool kid!

Show off

She loves to do this. Seriously, she is so proud of herself. You can see it in her little smirk. Although, she does start to fade at the end. :)

And all I got was this stupid t-shirt!

We went on our first real vacation without Madison this past weekend. We went to New York for 4 days! We had tons of fun but missed Maddie terribly. Here are a few pics from our trip and a couple of Maddie just for fun.

P.S. Don't worry, Maddie got way more than just a t-shirt ;)

See the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island in the background of the next two pics. We had a Italian dinner and watched the sun set :)

The view of the WTC site from our hotel room. Sadly, it's been almost 7 years since 9/11 and there is still nothing there.
Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge for some NY pizza. It was AMAZING. We had to wait 40 minutes and the place was soooo packed but it was worth it. Best pizza I've ever had.

The hat was a NY purchase also. :)

Our Lil Fish

This was the first 'swim' of this summer. At first, she was a little apprehensive but she quickly remembered how much she enjoys being in the water. Especially with her BFF, her daddy. Next step is swimming lessons. These were taking w/the continuous feature on the camera so look at em quickly (I know there are too many). The videos I took won't load for some reason :(.

Drinks w/the girls!

Madison and I had a girls night out with one of my BFFs Rey. Maddie hasn't seen Rey for almost a year and was shy at first but definitely came around once Rey started feeding her those gummy candy er...vitamins. I wish I had gotten more pics but it was so fun to catch up w/a close friend! Next time, Maddie's staying home so mommy can have more than one drink ;)
