Maddie vs. the Sprinkler - Round 2

The last time Maddie met this particular adversary, the sprinkler was definitely the victor ;) (see post about 10 down). Here is Round 2:

Keeping her distance.

Getting closer.

CLOSER!

Maybe stepping over it will be okay?

Hey, this is actually kinda fun!

Not sure about getting sprayed in the face...

Okay, I officially like the sprinkler!

Drying off with Daddy!

Just because she's so freakin' cute!

Vintage Maddie

Since I've been lagging so much on new pics and videos lately, I thought I should post some oldie but goodies. These may be my all-time fave videos of her. She loves that dang dog (he's been a lot of trouble but it's been fun to see them become best friends). This was just about one year ago today. And no babies or animals were hurt in the filming of these videos. :)

White babies can't jump

She loves to show us how HIGH she can jump. Only problem is, I don't think she's ever actually gotten both feet off the ground :). She is awfully proud of her "hops." And she usually says "JUMP!" when she's doing it.

"Wonder Pets, Wonder Pets! We're on our way...

to help a baby squirrel and save the day!" Sadly, Jon and I both have the ever-so-catchy theme song to the lamest kids show ever running through our heads on a daily basis. Maddie loves Wonder Pets and has started singing parts of the song too. Unfortunately, the 'takes' before getting out the camera were much better but you get the idea. :)

Everyone's entitled

to be grumpy sometime. Especially when it's early in the morning and you have a camera in your face. Not sure if that warrants hitting the camera though...

Fun(?) w/sprinkler

Okay, remember in the post below, how I said that Maddie loves water. Well, I think that we found the way in which she DOESN'T like water. That is, unexpectedly spraying her from a crazy sprinkler. She didn't realize that she could just walk out of the line of fire. She just froze and freaked while I shamefully snapped this picture.

Just a little fib

Lately, the response to every single question we ask Maddie is a resounding "NO!". Something tells me she's not telling the truth this time though. :)
